The hand-woven Danish cord seat measures 33cm x 36cm, providing a supportive surface that flexes gently for comfort. The overall width at the base is 66cm, giving the stool a stable stance while maintaining a light, refined profile.
Available in oak, walnut, or ash, each stool is finished by hand with Danish oil in a satin sheen, highlighting the beauty of the natural grain. Built using traditional joinery techniques, this stool is made to last and can be customised in height to suit your space.

Why Danish Cord?
Danish cord is a natural paper fibre cord that’s been used in Scandinavian furniture making since the 1940s. It’s valued for its strength, comfort, and timeless texture. The tight hand-woven pattern provides gentle flexibility while remaining highly durable, and it develops a beautiful patina with use. Lightweight yet strong, Danish cord brings a sense of warmth and craftsmanship that complements both modern and traditional interiors.
Handmade with care, this stool blends modern design, natural materials, and traditional craftsmanship for a piece that’s both functional and enduring.
All the wood I use is sustainably sourced from FSC and PEFC certified suppliers
